Just got back from lanzarote, I have been going for years but this was my first time in Charlies. Rory Gallagher is absolutely brilliant, its hypnotic watching him play the drums....a fantastic entertainer. The lounge girl Ciara was excellent, enjoyed the banter with her and my glass was never empty, she is a great asset to the bar, will be back x

charlies bar is the best bar in lanzarote.from finbar ,the bar staff,skin and hyde and the atmosphere.fab fab fab.everyone is so friendly and the craic is mighty.

What a fantastic spot, Rory Gallaher is a a superb singer we had a great time there, really enjoyed his song about, George Micheal, Ryanair and Michael Jackson. Then at 11.30 all hell breaks loose with skin and hyde what a band! you would travel a long distance in ireland to see them. I would recommend a visit to Charlies and you will keep going back. Had a brilliant holiday there. Thanks everyone at Charlies.

i have to agree with eddie obviously we are havin skin and hide play at our weddin for a reason there is certainly no other talent like them on the island we have been visiting for d last 5years and know other band come close. And rory i could listen to him all night wat a fab voice. Raging im goin to miss him do my lovely horse as thats eddies ... See Moreparty piece after a few too many haha maybe next year ye can do a duet of it. And have to mention d fab staff at charlies on our second might they knew our drinks order before we asked for it that is d kinda staff u want. Well done barry u def know how to run a brilliant buisness.

jus back from lanzarote dis mornin and must say had the best nites ever in charlies. tought no band r solo artist wud be as good as skin n hide but just goes to show that rory isnt far behind ye guys (watch out) lol. And as for sharon shannon wat an amazing talent and such a down to earth very nice woman she was! keep up the bril work guys. looking forward to our wedding next sept in lanzarote wher we have skin n hide book for the wedn.

Just got back to blighty after spending a month in Lanzarote (boy do I miss it already).
Frequented Charlie's Bar on many occasions as you guy's seem to have some of the best musicians around playing at your bar, funny though how I always remember going into the bar but never remember coming out. Can't remember the band or the guy who was playing the guitar (early December) but he absolutely blew me away... Did he practice on a regular basis with Jimmy Hendrix.
Roll on December 2010 I can't wait to get back to the nice weather - nothing but bloody snow here!
